Brooks goes to lunch with her cousin,Shawn. He’s drinking a sunrise tequila, which just looks amazing. The cameras then point to someone about to join them. The person sounds all too familiar and is apparently good friends with Brooks. Hello Mrs. Phaedra Parks.
Phaedra is one the Housewives of Atlanta alumni. Her last season on Housewives of Atlanta was epic and she left with her reputation in shambles with the other cast mates. I have seen the show and all of the seasons and surely can’t wait to give my opinions on that.
Returning to the lunch with Brooks, where she advises that Phaedra and her were not close until Brooks mentioned she has investment properties. Now they are soul sisters LoL Phaedra inquires about how black people are treated in Dubai and how the men are. Phaedra is looking into expanding her business over here.
Take us over to Lesa where we capture the kids feeding Ms. Goat. Lesa tells the kids that Ms. Goat is going back to her mommy and daddy soon and the kids are not having it. One even cries when he is told she is leaving. I think they settle on keeping the goat just a short time longer. Lesa then goes to talk to her husband about the night of the party and how Stanbury was. Lesa’s husband jabs at Stanbury’s “influencer” job but said to not engage. Why is being an influencer a bad thing over there? She apparently does well with looking the way she does, building a house, and living the way she does in Dubai. I mean how do I sign up for that job? LoL
Stanbury is in the kitchen with her fiancé and kids talking about how Ayan is coming over for dinner. Stanbury talks about now that she’s separated the puppet from the puppet master(Lesa), that she wants to see where this goes. Ayan comes,no gift in hand i may add, and they go outside to have wine on the patio. Stanbury talks about how she was in boarding school all of her childhood and that’s why she is the way she is. The baby idea gets brought up where Stanbury told Sergio it’s all his responsibility. Obviously Ayan has some thoughts in her confessional but she says that Stanbury isn’t ready for a child. Something even Stanbury has admitted but we are obviously waiting for Sergio to catch on. Ayan mentions she has a birthday coming up. Hmmmm… this may be the one where the argument comes long LoL I’m starting to see a trend here.
Sara and Nina are heading out of town to meet Sara’s family. Not much happens here. They start talking about childhood when Sara’s dad brings out pictures when she was young. We then dive into Nina’s childhood and she states that they came to America with nothing, but it made her appreciate what she has now. She doesn’t take anything for granted. As she said that, her dilemma on her Rolls-Royce issue is brought in my head. Sara reveals that her mom ad dad are cousins. It wasn’t an arranged marriage but they were engaged when her mom was 14…. I just can’t wrap my head around that one.
Ayan takes her shoes off in the mall and walking and dancing in her bare feet to meet Lesa. This is another nice thing about Ayan. Not worried about being fabulous, but just fun. Love it. Lesa and Ayan sit down and start to talk about the party and how Stanbury told Lesa about sucking Sergio’s private area. Ayan was shocked on this but does reveal that she had went over to Stanbury’s house and all is well so far.
We head to the mall of Emirates where they go to the indoor ski attraction. Brooks is preparing Phaedra for how her friends are. Brooks admits that she’s going to stir tea with Stanbury and Lesa at this point for Phaedra’s entertainment. Lesa joins and Brooks reveals that Stanbury is also invited. Stanbury finally shows and they start off on a tiff because Stanbury won’t change out of her own ski clothes and wear provided ones. They go into the ski area and Stanbury advises that now she isn’t skiing. She just came to hang out and meet Phaedra. Here is more of the stand-offish attitude coming from Stanbury. Not much more happens here.
Ayan goes to a place where she meets with her designer who gifts her a beautiful dress for her birthday. This is why you have well known friends I guess LoL
People are going into a nice restaurant where the girls and their partners meet up for Ayan’s birthday dinner. Ayan finally shows looking very beautiful. The red dress gifted to her was absolutely stunning. Her husband starts with a nice toast to Ayan and her son (they are a day apart of birthdays). Dinner is served and seems to be a nice and enjoyable time. They joke about Ayan’s past gifts to people. Ayan admits in the confessional that nothing was the best gift she could have given Stanbury. Shaaaaaade. Stanbury starts talking about how she doesn’t want to sit with her or Sergio’s parents prewedding and during wedding. Sergio again looks uncomfortable. Stanbury then blurts out she didn’t want to get married. I had to stop the show at this point because she seemed over the moon for Sergio. Other than him being inconsiderate about having a baby, he’s been so good to Stanbury. Again, in my opinion, I think the stress is just getting to her. Birthday cakes come out and they sing happy birthday to break up the tension that is now brewing between Stanbury and her fiancé. After Ayan’s son stands up to give a toast to his mother. There is a toast and the show ends with sergio giving Stanbury sad glares.
Thoughts-
Stress is obviously getting to Stanbury. She’s still taking the villain torch and walking with it. Ayan is more and more noticeably getting friendlier while still keeping some glare in her confessionals. Brooks is still our pot stirring queen. Lesa and Stanbury haven’t resolved anything, but if they did, it wouldn’t be as dramatic. I’m still shocked how Stanbury is acting since the start of the show to now. Again the baby thing is where the couple differs, but now she is saying how she never wanted to get married again. Sergio clearly loves her and seemed genuinely hurt by her statement.
